Hi,

The sound on our acer aspire 5 stopped working, so i used system restore to set the laptop back to beginning of december.  The laptop sound was working fine after restore completed.  The laptop was then shutdown but when the laptop was turned on by my son 10 minutes later for his school work it would not boot into windows 10.  I now have a blue screen of options.  I am now unable to do a system restore, I also cannot reset the laptop to factory.  The laptop is still under warranty but if I send it back to acer they are saying 20 days for repairs due to covid.  Anybody have any advice on this.

Thanks
Victor

Shut the laptop off by pressing and holding the power button for about 5 seconds. Then turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A recovery screen should reappear to let you reset the laptop again. Jack E/NJ
