Is my Nitro 5 AN517-51-56YW compatible with a dock?

I'd like to be able to be able to have a stationary setup using a dock that also connects to a second monitor, but I haven't been able to figure out what kind of dock (or specific dock), if any, is compatible with my laptop. Thanks!

You should be able to use a USB-C dock with display link to get a second display. These use USBC data rather than thunderbolt displayport to connect a second screen. I wouldnt be able to comment which ones would work though as they are always finiky, do know from personal experiance that the Dell docks dont work very well for non dell laptops.  Pluggable and startech are pretty reliable generic brands and there is an index at:

I use mine, without a dock, as a stationary setup - monitor connected to HDMI - USB 2.0 port onto a USB splitter with my keyboard, mouse and printer cables connected to it, one USB 3 port to another USB 3 splitter with dedicated on/off switches to each port with 3 external drives connected (allows to connect to whatever drive i want, and keep disconnected when i do not need them without needing to physically disconnect).
I did this cos none of my laptops - Predator 300, Nitro 5 or Nitro 7 support a dock like my work laptop does. But, to be honest, I preferred this over a dock for it saves a signtficant amount of money too (by not buying a dock).
