New Aspire 3 no longer connecting to WiFi as of JAN 1. Very suspicious timing.

Purchased 2 new Aspire 3 laptops in Dec '20 for x-mas gift for kids. Connected to WiFi and setup devices on 25th Dec. They worked fine until Jan 1 (coincidently a new year).Worked with ACER live chat support and downloaded latest Wireless LAN Driver (NFA435) (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/support-product/8364?b=1&pn=NX.HVUAA.005). This seems very coincidental that both laptops stopped working exact same time on Jan 1. This really seems to be a driver issue. Anyone else have this issue in last couple days? Any solution?

    With both laptops turned off, turn both your router & modem off for about a minute. Then reboot the router and modem. After about 5 minutes, turn the laptops back on. Jack E/NJ
