Dear all,
After a failed BIOS flash my Acer Aspire One 522-C6-Dkk no longer boots, it doesn't even show POST. I tried - to no avail - resetting Bios by pressing Fn+Esc keys before inserting power cable, while having an usb drive with bios files connected.
I have two questions:
* How can I tell that my netbook indeed is in crisis recovery mode? I don't get a blinking power button or flashing leds after I hold the Fn+Esc keys and insert power cable. And if I'm not in CRM, which I fear, what am I doing wrong?
* What are the required filenames of the bios files? On some forums it was suggested that apart from the flash it.exe file I could just rename the .bin file to bios.fd. However, I have the feeling a more precise name might be needed, because for other acer netbooks I found pretty specific .fd names.
Thanks in advance!
Montgomery
