My new Swift SF313-53-532J laptop purchased from India in Nov, 2020 is having issue of momentary freezing of screen from the first day of use. The screen turns black for a few seconds and then recovers. This happens many times in a day. Also I am getting BSOD errors frequently. The reliability monitor in windows 10 is reporting hardware error with error code LiveKernelEvent 141 and product 768_1. I have updated all the drivers (Intel). Windows 10 is also updated. This laptop has Intel Iris XE Graphics integrated. Upon searching google for a solution, I doubt this issue is related to GPU and its driver. I have tried many versions of intel iris xe drivers, and some of them giving too much trouble. The latest one 27.20.100.9079 is much better but still the errors remain. I approached local acer support centre and they also are unable to help. Your support is highly appreciated.

Can you take some pictures of the BSOD pages? They often have more info than just what you are reporting... Have you gone through the SFC process to verify you don't have corrupted system files?

OK, the igdkmdn64.sys file is related to the Intel graphics chip, the ntoskrnl.exe is likely due to corrupted memory, which also might be from the graphics side of things. Which driver version are you running? You might do a full uninstall of the drivers then reinstall the Acer version before allowing it to update automatically. The GPU is new enough that Intel might still be ironing in some bugs. :)

    Thanks for your quick response.

I am using the latest driver from intel auto update 27.20.100.9168  Dated: 08/01/2021.
As per some experts opinion while googling, I tried using the acer recommended version 27.20.100.8436 dated: 07/10/2020 earlier. But there was no difference. Also, I did a system reset from Recovery. Nothing seems to work. As you said, this is a new GPU and intel may come with a proper solution. But I do suspect, may be it could be hardware issue also. I haven't seen anybody else reporting such issues anywhere in the web. If this problem is from driver alone, this issue must be there for everybody who has purchased this model.
I am facing this issue from the first use, during my initial setup itself. The screen will freeze for a moment and then it restores normalcy. This issue is mostly noticed when I am using web browsers (google chrome, firefox, edge, whatsapp desktop, etc). Later on, it started having BSOD errors in very frequent successions.
I made complaints with acer support and those guys guided me to a local service center where it seems to be they are not able to troubleshoot the issue. They said, they found some issues with SSD and have ordered for a replacement and it is awaiting delivery. In the meantime, they returned the laptop for use with me.

Do you want to format and reinstall windows again, I shall try it again. Windows and other software is already present in the hidden OEM partition. If it's necessary, I can install windows from USB pen drive also.

I was having some BSOD issues with the Intel sound drivers for their chipset and just disabled Intel(R) Display Audio and Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel® SST) temporarily and haven't seen an issue since. (And since you reminded me of it, I just re-enabled to see if they come back after a couple of update cycles).

I didn't seem to be lucky enough. I have disabled Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller but the BSOD errors continue.
