I understand that Packard Bell are now Acer. How can I download driver for Ixtreme?

I bought an Ixtrme three years ago and the wireless network adaptor no longer works. The Ixtreme is on neither the Acer nor PB websites. I have questioned PB about this but they do not want to know. I have questioned Acer but four days later I am still awaiting a reply and solution to my problem.

I went here and clicked on desktop. It looks like there are several models. Which one do you have?

Thank you, Tabbiekatz. I have already tried this but it doesn't work for me. There appears to be something more serious wrong with my computer with which one of the Acer technicians is trying to help me.

OK, no problem. Seeing if I could assist. Maybe a new wifi adapter is in order?

Thank you. I think I'm gong to have to take my computer back to factory condition, alas! Everything is backed up but the thought of reinstalling various software is rather daunting, particularly as I have my own website. I may decide to forget the whole thing as, to be honest, WiFi is not a great issue for me at the moment.
