Hey everybody-

I have a Nitro 515-53 that very suddenly decided to not turn on anymore. I used it two days ago with no issues, then today it wouldn't power on or recognize the power supply. Here's what I've done so far to troubleshoot:

*Pressed the battery reset pinhole for time & left it alone - no change
*Removed the internal battery, CMOS battery & held down power button for 30+ seconds to discharge, then left alone - no change
*Pressed gently on the keyboard to see if the dipswitch needed more pressure - no change
*Tried using a power supply from my OLD Aspire to power up (right voltage, but too low amps) - power supply actually tripped off like a circuit breaker

I have not had a single issue with this computer since I bought it, and I don't mistreat my machines (which is why my 9yo Aspire is still my very functional backup system)...what the hell happened? I don't have a volt/multimeter to test my battery or power supply, so what are my next steps? I have a lot of work that I need this machine to do, so help & suggestions are duly appreciated.

After leaving it unplugged overnight, I plugged in the power supply and it began to charge. I have achieved a bootable state, but now my internal SSD (not the M.2) is not recognized. Should I check on the cable? What kinds of problems should I be wary of in the future?
