Hey
Very new to upgrading pc. Bought a Orion 3000 PO3-620. I am wanting to install a cpu cooler but have been told the motherboard is glued in? Does any one know if thats the case?
Or even if the motherboard can be removed without causing damage
Thanks

No it’s not. There is adhesive on the backplate though and it’s a bit tricky to remove. When I upgraded my cooler I used a blow drier to soften the adhesive and it came off easily.

What cooler have you gone for?  Interested to see how are you are for space and whether its as simple as plug and play. Heard some coolers are others aren't due to the board.

I ended up doing it, used a cool master 103. is a low profile cooler and works with the socket. Cpu backplate wasnt glued but had a kind of double sided tape on it. I just slowly lifted it and it lifted up fairly easy, needed to to modify the backplate though to fit the cooler bracket on, not sure what other people have done but i cut the backplate corners off that have the mounting for the stock cooler, after that was a breeze
