Solid state drive death on Aspire S7

I have just owned Aspire S7 for 2 weeks and now it is reported that it SSD is death and need to send to Sinpaore to repair and i have to wait 4 weeks to have it come, i just want to know any one in this room have met the same problem like me? and how to avoid it happen? it very shamfull that we spent USD 1300 to expect to have quality product but it is not.

 

March 18th Received the Unit From Spore after 3 weeks away from me. after i checked i found that they replaced the Original 128 SSD with 2x64, this is a big *** Acer had done to me. they thinks i'm a stupid guy. so now i packed it and returned to Chayhok Local agent again and they will send from Cambodia to Spore again. so pls advise anyone ever cheated by Acer company like me? now i have to wait another 3 weeks to see it again. the similar case like me in US Acer had replace with new unit, it is fair enought. but in Asia Spore Agent try to Reoair and Cheating. It is Very Ashamed Acer Singapore And Acer Cambodia.

    I am a bit confused by your update. The SSD should be 2x64 or 2x128 depending on whether you buy the 128GB or 256GB model.

     

    If you bought the 128GB model, it should be 2x64GB arranged as RAID 0. This gives a bit of a speedboost vs 1x128GB.

     

    However, this is normally only visible in the BIOS. Once booted into Windows it should appear as 1x128GB and you cannot see it is 2x64GB. But this is a configuration issue, not a hardware one.
