We have a pair of Acer Spin 512 (R852T-C0E1 according to the label on the rear) and we would like to use them with a stylus - does this model support them? If so can anyone recommend a stylus to purchase?

We have tried a Staedtler Noris and they are not recognised unfortunately. Staedtler suggest that a Spin 512 R851TN is compatible....

The full model number should be something like SP512-xxx-xxxx. If there isn't a "N" in that second group of characters then it doesn't have an active digitizer and the only stylus that will work is the typical capacitive type, with the blunt rubber tip.

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, there is no "N" in the model number, so it looks like we are out of luck.

There are also styluses for the capacitive screens that have a transparent round tip that allows you to see through to the screen for better accuracy. They still don't give the extra features an active digitizer will have, like pressure sensitivity but might be more useful for you that the rubber tipped ones.
