Hi everyone,
It was W7 and I upgrade it to W10. Now I’d like to replace the drive to SSD.

My question is that I’d like to install a fresh copy of W10. I visited Acer download page for this laptop and found that only a few W10 drivers available.
Should I just clone current SATA drive to SSD? Or W10 just works without drivers?
Please advise.
Thank you,

Hi,
You may not find all the drivers needed for Windows 10 in this model, you may get some basic drivers from Microsoft and for the rest you have to rely on third party for drivers, what I would suggest is to backup your W7(or keep the original HDD which has the W7 installation), then install Windows 10 in the new SSD, search for any drivers you need online and install them, if you are not happy you can always go back to W7.
