I recently bought an Acer nitro 5 AN515-43 and from day one I have been facing serious lag problems even when playing a game like Minecraft. Games usually run at about 200 fps but once every 10-12 seconds it drops to around 15 and after a few seconds goes back to 200. Sometimes, when I play the laptop freezes and I can't get it to work unless I force power off the laptop and turn it back on which fixes the problem temporarily.
Specifications:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550h
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX-1650
- Memory: 8GB DDR4
- Storage: 256GB SSD+1TB HDD
Additional info:
- The SSD is the boot drive and my games are all on the SSD
Steps tried:
- Setting a battery plan to high performance.
- Updating BIOS to version 1.10 from https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/8033?b=1&pn=NH.Q6ZSI.002 which is the official acer page for my laptop.
- moving my games to my HDD(this helps but the lag and the crashes are still present)
None of these steps have helped fix the lag and the freezing, please help me.

Your RAM could be a problem - 8 GB is normally too low for gaming on windows 10. So when it tries to swap between page file on hard disk and RAM it could be causing the lag spikes.
