So, I have an Aleena C5K-A2C for the model, and it had crashed. I have tried a repair tool from several versions of the OS, and have tried different usb sticks as well.

OK, took me a while to figure out which model series you have, I believe it is a CB315-2H or CB315-2HT. The major difference between the two is the T has a touchscreen. I think they all came with either a 32GB eMMC or 64GB eMMC drive. Most often that error message just means exactly what it says, there are corrupted system files and a reflash of the OS, or even just a powerwash, gets it back. Since that doesn't seem to be the case it's more likely the the drive has failed. A failed drive is a major issue with these since the eMMC drive is soldered to the motherboard. Any chance you are still in warranty? Any chance you are trying to flash with an image that doesn't match your model?

No, I’ve gone and used the exact chrome “repair tool” files. But no luck. Have even tried developer mode, which seems to get further into the repair but same error pops up by the end of it. It’s for sure not in warranty right now. But I’d lean towards it being a drive issue at this point

So, it comes down to a funding question, if it better to save as much as possible by buying a replacement MB or system from the secondary market, od=r is it better to just go to a new machine. The latter costs a little more, but maybe the difference is within your budget...
