Hello,

Tomorrow is my birthday so as a gift for myself I want to buy SSD for m.2 slot in my laptop (specific type in title). I am a noob so could you give me a link or name to any example model which disk can I buy? I found on polish forums a guy with almost same laptop who bought this one: PNY 250GB M.2 PCIe NVMe XLR8 CS3030. Will it be ok in my e5-575g-589d?
I am a little bit confused because once I read my Acer supports only SATA then i read that PCIe is also acceptable  =)

My budget is about 400 PLN (100EUR/100USD). Here are some screens from Hwinfo64.

Thanks a lot!

    Hi,
Yes, you can install a M.2 NVMe SSD but it will work at half the speed advertised by the manufacturers, it will still be much faster than the HDD, highlight PCI Express Root Port 9(A1/C1), it will show the value of 2x for Maximum link width in the right pane, as for the PNY NVMe SSD, it should work without any issue as you have seen someone else using this SSD in the same model laptop.
