is it normal to take 2 months for a repair?

as title asks

it's been almost 2 months since they received my monitor, 6-7 weeks of waiting for parts apparently, is this normal? seems like terrible customer service for an £800 monitor to me, either that or pure incompetency

Yeah, it's not unusual for a newer model during the COVID-19 era. All shipping is running slow, and spare parts are typically shipped the cheapest way, which translates to lower on the priority tree than other stuff... When it's an older design they often already have their service parts in stock, it's mostly just the new ones that end up delayed.
