Nitro 5 an515-54-5659 won't detect second SSD

I've been beating my head against a wall for most of the day now, and I can't find a straight answer. Does the AN515-54-5659 support nVME?

I have tried installing a 1TB Inland Pro 1TB nVME drive in my laptop for most of today to no avail. This laptop has 2 m.2 ports, one labeled SATA/PCIE which is what the stock boot drive is in, and a second labeled PCIE. I installed the first one and re-seated it a few times, nothing. Returned and exchanged for another, still nothing.

Here are the specs on the machine: Intel Core i5 9300H @ 3489.75 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr)

Hi,
Have you tried switching the drives around? If not, put the original drive(with OS) in the PCIE only slot, insert the second 1TB drive in the PCIE/SATA.
