CPU - i7-8750H
GPU - GTX1060
Model - PH315-51

I have been using this gaming notebook for a while. It used to normally reach 89 degrees normally on Predator sense while gaming. Recently it was reaching 98* and was thermal throttling a lot.
I did CPU and GPU repaste 2 times. Used Kryonaut both the times, still temps are reaching 98* and thermal throttling for some time. Then temps come back to 89* steady. But 89* still higher than what others see on same notebook. I know i can use throttlestop to bring down temps, but is there no way I can bring temps down by any other method without undervolt?
Would it help if i use some other thermal paste like arctic mx-4??

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think you did a really bad repaste since using kryonaut on a machine reaching 98'c would bring down tempos by atleast 20 degrees. U can try raising the back by a few inches and putting fans on max.

Nope. Actually it was good repaste, but this time I again repasted with all the left up kryonaut and temp got down by 2-3'c so that didn't help again. Will try again with Arctic-MX 4 and post the result in  2-3 days. I believe this might be an issue of thermal paste, but not really sure.

Did you change the thermal pads? When you lifted the heatsink had the paste spread?
