I herd that constantly reading and writing will wear out an SSD so will having windows in a SSD will lead to such a event? Will I lose my SSD ?

    Hi,
No, installing the Operating system in your SSD is better than using an HDD, the OS will boot faster and perform better in a SSD.

I've been using an SSD for 5 years virtually every day and its still working stable, fast with no problems. SSD is the way to go but, always get reputable and quality SSD's as budget SSD's will always be susceptible to failure

Same thing happen to HDDs, although SSDs do have an expected number of read/write cycles. Just keep the data you cannot afford to lose backed up to a cloud storage and/or a separate HDD so you don't have to worry about losing data in case of a SSD failure.
