Is it safe to game while the laptop is changing

I game online when the laptop is changing because I need my battery powered to do my studies and stuff. So only get a chance to game when I charge. And when I do game when I charge the laptop charges the battery incredibly slow is it normal. I keep my charging range between 40-80%.

Yes, you have to play games while connected to AC adapter and not battery only, it's also normal for the battery gets charged slowly while you play games.
