Nitro sense auto mode not working- after fan clean and repaste AN515 55 78df

Hi,

I cleaned my fans today like how @GAMING6698 recommended. Was able to remove some dust from the fins. To do this had to remove heatsink, so repasted aswell. Everything when well except bending the heatsink slighty ! but managed to still complete the job.

When i powered up, everything was working, temps were fine on idle ( yet to test under stress) so when out for lunch.

Come back and now the auto mode in nitro sense wont display the rpm. I can feel the fans working but no display of rpm.

MAX and Custom work. Changes speed and displays rpm but when click back to auto it cuts off immediately and its no display rpm again.

Usually it will lower itself from custom ( when gaming) to auto by 20 seconds decrease rpm gradually. but now cuts out!

Why is this? how to fix?

tried to reinstall nitro sense but cant get the tabs on the acer support site to drop down with model number info.

Im yet to test out my paste jobs performance with the slighty bent heatsink but already on idle temps are normal. i had repasted previously so i don't expect much decrease in temps. used kryo FYI

Okay, as it turn out, works again. Just had to open it another time.

I had another question. if anyone wants to answer.

Why would my fan speed been lower than before-post clean of fans and repaste- wasnt too much dust on the fins- @GAMING6698 any ideas??

Did you clean air vents from inside?
You need to open small screws on heat sink to clean air vents
