OCTANE should be on your HDD0 and its not detected, so i suppose its broken? rgd not detecting 'other' hdd, think its bcoz its in RAID mode. you could try change the SATA Mode to AHCI and it should show up. But do not save the BIOS and backup your data if possible before doing antying. good luck

There is no need for a Legacy option, that's only available for Windows 7 and before. Did your system come with just the 1TB HDD or did it have both a SSD and a HDD? I'm going to want you to boot from a Windows install flash drive to look at the partitions on the HDD. Use diskpart and list both volumes and partitions for the HDD disk.

The OS is in the HDD0 which is a SSD. Yeah the laptop has both a SSD and HDD. So do i have to re-install the windows? but how about the files there? are they safe?

OK, with the OS on HDD0 (the SSD) we're going to want to look at the partitions and potentially try some repairs before going to the step of reinstalling the OS. The fact that your BIOS says there is no drive installed in HDD0 though sounds very much like the drive has failed. Do you have another system handy that you can use to create a Windows install flash drive? If so go ahead and make one and we'll go through the process of booting from it so we can use diskpart to see what the system thinks about the SSD. Are you still in warranty?

i dont think i can claim the warranty since I broke the warranty label.

But when i tried to reinstall the windows i still couldn't find my SSD there, even from cmd diskpart. I dont what happened. did something happen with my ssd? or is it just the software that's not able to read it.

I hate this, i have works to do and my files are still there.

If Disk Manager and the BIOS both do not show the drive then very likely the drive has died. I'd contact Acer support even though you have opened it up. If you didn't cause the problem then they might still honor the warranty.
