My Laptop: Acer aspire515-56 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7  with intel Iris Xe graphics

I have 16GB RAM but strangely just 128MB dedicated video memory and 8091 MB shared system memory. Is it possible to increase this memory? I would like to play some modern games that require 512 mb dedicated memory

    >>>8091 MB shared system memory.>>>

8GB shared!!!!???? This is unusually high shared memory. Where are you seeing this? Shared VRAM is typically a fixed percentage (~10%) of total installed RAM and set automatically by the games, not the player.  Many modern games won't run properly without also having a dedicated GPU with a minimum of 2GB dedicated VRAM, which your does  not have. Thank you for your response @JackE !

These values are shown at the window of "Advanced display settings" and then "display adapter properties"

There I have a Total available Graphics Memory of 8219 MB where 8091 MB are just for shared System Memory and 128 MB for the Dedicated Video Memory.

Can it be that something is wrong with my laptop? This is brand new...
I read something about editing the Dedicated System memory on my BIOS but I'm not sure how to do that...

Try setting Control Panel power plan from balanced or power saver mode, to maximum performance mode. Jack E/NJ
