I wish to upgrade the memory from 4gb to 8gb, but I am unable to find the exact same memory.
It currently has 1 x 4gb ddr3 1333mhz sodimm.
I read somewhere that I cannot use anything other than another dd3 1333mhz and that it must also only have 8 x 256k chips onboard.
Alternatively if I had to buy 2 new memory cards, what do I buy?

Hi,
You can buy used modules in a auction site online, or you can use a 1600MHz modules advertised in Crucial site because these modules are guaranteed to work in your model.
