SSD and RAM upgrade on Aspire3 A315-51-37AV

Can I use an M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe gen3x4 SSD on my Acer Aspire 3 A315-51-37AV NX.GNPSI.006? 

Also, I have 2133mhz ddr4 RAM soldered in my core i3-7130u laptop. It has an expansion slot that supports up to 8gb. Do I need to add another 4gb 2133mhz ddr4 ram to make it dual-channel? Will ddr4l work or 2400mhz ram?

The nvme should work OK. Your on board soldered RAM is single channel. You can add up to 8GB single or dual channel with speed equal to or greater than 2133MHz, the max of your mainboard. So 2400, 2666 and 3200MHz should work fine. You won't see much difference between single and dual channel. Jack E/NJ

Hi,
You can install a M.2 NVMe SSD but the speed may be reduced to half of what the manufacturers advertise due to only 2lanes being enabled for PCI Express Root Port, still it's much faster than a M.2 SATA SSD, as for the memory, you can upgrade with a 8GB DDR4 2133MHz or 2400MHz module, 4GB of 8GB will work at dual channel and the rest will work at single channel, if you can not buy a 2133MHz module, use a 2400MHz module and it will downclock to 2133MHz.
