HEllo Comunity!

I recently bought a samsung m471a1k43cb1-crc RAM stick for my Nitro 5 AN512-52 gaming laptop (Intel Core I5-8300H, 8G RAM). When I first intalled the RAM stick (in order to have a total of 16gb) the laptop did not present any issue but after a week when i tunred my laptop on, 2 BSOD appeared.

1. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
2. MEMORY_MANAGEMNT

I have checked multiple times and the memory stick is compatible with my laptop. I am wondering if this might be a BIOS problem? I am not sure to be honest. Sometimes the laptop will Work fine with the 16gb but other times it will present the BSOD again.

I would appreciate any help or advice!

What is the model of your original stick?

The original memory stick it comes with is a KN8GB0G04684384F8F3400. I tried looking it up on google but didn't find anything. I know it is an 8GB, 2400 MHz. So I returned the Samsung RAM stick I bought (that had the same specs) and they (seller) gave me another one. SK Hynix HMA81G6AFR8N (8GB, 2400 MHz). My computer seems to be running well with this one. No BSOD so far.

It happens rare, but the RAM was DOA. Glad that the issue is resolved.
