Hi everyone, my laptop is an Aspire E5 - 774 series. I was using it when it just suddenly turned off. It was plugged in and at 100% battery at the time. When i pressed the power button, it didn’t do anything. I then checked and saw that when it is plugged in, the blue light still comes on indicating that it is charging.
I saw some posts for different laptops saying that you can remove the battery and hold power button for 30 seconds, but I don’t know if i can or how to remove the battery. Please help! I have my final exams of the semester soon and quick help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I’ve also inserted a pin into the small hole on the under side near the center, and I inserted for 30 seconds and now the light for the battery is not turning on if i insert the charger into the port.

I have the same issue. I then bought a new battery and that had no effect. Is there an answer out there to this question?
