Audio from headphones only playing on right side

just recently my headphones started to act up and the audio moved to the right side and I cant hear anything, someties the audio from the left side will restore and I can hear from both sides but it will go back to being on one side after a while, i know its not the headphones because I have conencted these headphones to different devices and tested it and the audio works just fine. I have not messed with any settings at all and I need help restoring the audio please help!!!

    Is there a chance the plug isn't all the way snapped into the socket? Sometimes there's a rubber ring towards the end that needs to be pushed past, sometimes the headphones have too big of a shield around the plug and it interferes with the case.

    Thank you so much this actually helped! I did see the rubber thing u were talking about so I pushed it past and well guess what it worked! Thanks!
