Hi yall I'm having an issue with this computer since I got it second hand. The laptop is a Aspire 7535 running windows 7. I continuously get messages about the ATI Radeon needing to be restarted. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics card and even took the computer into a repair shop to reball the graphic card, but to no avail.

At this time I've also seen that in my device manager under "Monitor" that my driver is reading "Generic PnP" which I've been told is not the correct driver. I need help figuring this problem out. It is problematic because when the computer gets over-worked it will cause the screen to black out and freeze.

ANY SUGGESTIONS AND ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECITATED.

Have a nice day

It sounds like you may have a different version of Windows loaded. Are you using the Acer OEM load of Windows?  If you are not running the OEM load of Windows, I recommend you reload your computer using recovery disks. You can order RCDs at http://store.acer.com, click eRecovery.
