TravelMate P215-52 Flickering screen In Firefox & HTML5

Hi,

I just bought this laptop a month ago. But when i go to a site in FireFox and it uses HTML5.I get the following:

I need to refresh the page to get it back to normal, other tabs are still normal.

I have the latest drivers Intel(R) UHD Graphics  26.20.100.7926

Latest windows 10 64b updates. 19042.630

latest FireFox 83.0 (64-bits)

Is there anything I can do? Or is this a FireFox or  HTML5 problem.

Anyone can help me with this problem?

Have you tried to uninstall firefox, erasing all information?

Can you provide the URL for that site? I'd like to verify it's not an issue with the browser...

OK, I don't read Dutch, but it looks OK with my system and Firefox. Do you see the login screen and have this happen after you enter the game, or does it happen before login?

It happens during the game, after I login.  It goes ok for a while, and then that flickering comes. I happens a couple time per hour. So not all the time.

It's not when I am doing something special. Sometimes it's the whole screen and sometimes part of the screen..

And I created a character in the US version, entered the game and went through the tutorials without a glitch. So it's not liable to be a Firefox problem. Can you roll back your Intel driver to see if that's the issue? Mine is the UHD 620 driver version 27.20.100.8935.

I installed version 27.20.100.8935, and for the last half hour no problem. So I think it worked. Thank you

Does the same problem occur in google chrome?

Also try Edge... We are trying to determine if it's an issue with the browser's handling of HTML5 graphics, a problem with the video drivers or with the hardware. I'm leaning toward hardware at this point, just because I can't think of anything that would be changing the drivers on the fly to cause the issue.

I tried Chrome today and as for now no problems. I will try Edge next.

Hi,

I tried it for the last couple of hours on Edge, but so for no problems.

So:

Firefox : Flickering

Chrome: Normal

Edge: Normal

egydiocoelho's trick did it, I uninstalled FireFox and erased everything, and installed it again. And since then ( 24 hours) no problems.

So it seems that the problem is solved.

Today the problem returned.

The only thing changed since a couple of days ago is, the latest windows update was installed.

When you restore windows to a date before the problem, does the problem still occur?

It's very strange, it happens a couple of times in a short period, but now for 1,5 day it didn't happen. I haven't done anything, like restore to a prior date..

Since I posted that last message, it happened 6 times, so now I will try to restore to an earlier date.
