Is it safe to use chromebook without battery

Hello. Bought a brand new acer chromebook 15 on sept. 2018. now battery is no longer charging. dont have money right now to buy new battery. is it safe to use my chromebook if i remove the battery and have it plugged to outlet whenever it is on? will it damage it if used without battery? thanks in advance.

    Unless you see a surge or brownout it should be OK, except that a lot of notebook designs don't work at all without the battery installed. Unless the battery is bulging I'd just leave it in place while you save up for a replacement.
