After thirteen years I finally decided to replace my homebuilt PC. It's was still purring along but as with Windows 10 extorting software manufacturers into intentionally crippling their products so they wouldn't run on Win7, so too has the hardware world. Be that as it may, I'm so far very impressed with my Aspire. The unit is so far as quiet as my laptop. It's even quieter than my cMP 2,1 running ElCap which I have to look at the power light to see if it's running. And the case looks like a Cooper Mini could be put in there and still have room. Way to go, Acer.

You'll find that if you put the Mini in there won't be much room for anything else. Otherwise I agree. :)

Okay, how about a Smart 4Two? This is my 5th PC - Two prebuilt, two self-bult, now this one. None of the others had such large cases or were as quiet. And my two build used the quietest fans I could find.
