I have already updated the BIOS, re-installed the supposedly Touchpad driver from the website and nothing works. I have also tried changing the touchpad from basic to advanced, and if I change to advanced it won't work at all. Any suggestion?

Right click on the installation file. Chose properties. In the box that pops up, click on the compatibility tab. The run it in Win8x compatibility mode. Jack E/NJ
