Hello,
UserBenchmarks: Game 29%, Desk 88%, Work 27%
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 - 94.4%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti - 28%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 87.8%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 C16 2x16GB - 69.4%
MBD: Acer Nitro N50-600
This PC is driving me nuts. Starting to not trust Acer Product.
So upon reading the forum for Acer N50-600, I thought that RAM that my model can be updated to is DDR4 2400/2666mHz as per below
I have now purchased and installed RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 C16 2x16GB (which took me awhile to install to the right slots to get dual channel - there are no label on the mother boards and the forum does not have information.) It is now dual channel, but is only clocked at 2133mHz. Why is it only clocked at that 2133mHz?
Also, did stress test for the GPU with Kombuster/Afterburner (as suggested by userbenchmarks) and it yields 16-17 fps.
My current Nvidia driver is up-to-date. I have gone to Acer and updated all the BIOS as well.
I did what I can per the pinned forum link on improving Windows 10 performance.
How can I make the RAM clocked at 2666mHz as per purported RAM supported specs for this model.
How can I improve the fps as well. (I know from research now that the per-built GPU is not the best, but 16-17 fps???)
Thank you for reading this; and much thanks if you can help me.
