Hello all, recently my Nitro 5 has stopped charging, as in my computer doesnt even recognize that it is plugged in. I have already changed the power port that my charger plugs into but nothing changed. For reference I recently added a 2TB HDD and replace the 250gb SSD with a 500gb one. Some friends online told me that this would have overloaded the power supply and possibly fried the motherboard yet I have another friend who did the same thing also with a Nitro 5 hasnt had a problem yet. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to fix my laptop without spending hundreds?

Adding a 2TB HDD and replacing your 250GB SSD with a 500GB should not do anything, as SSD’s take very little power. Check your power supply/charger if it works or charges? Does your battery work 100% or needs replacing? Does your laptop boot up or show any life on the charger or battery? Have you had a power outage that might have shortened supply/charger out? As this has happened to me and I bought a new battery and charger and all worked 100%, try that.
