My Aspire A715-41G is only playing audio out of one headphone when plugged in.

Hi all,

I received my new laptop yesterday and when plugging in my headphones there is only audio playing through one side. Had a quick search here and saw some advice to check the drivers and either update/uninstall which I have done and it's still doing it.

I've tried 4 sets of headphones to rule out it being those and it's doing them with all of it, and the 2 x speakers on the laptop are both playing audio fine.
I've also connected wireless headphones, and the audio is playing in both ears no issues.

Any advice greatly appreciated, as I fear the headphone port may be faulty.

Have you fully insert the headphone in?

Yes, with all 4 sets of headphones.

    Hello JHux

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your headphones. I recommend you to update the Serial IO drivers, you can also check for updates on Acer drivers and Manuals page , if the it did not resolve the issue, please contact your local support for further assistance.

    Best Regards,
