Hey there!
I use an Acer nitro 5. Exact Model: AN515-51
Recently I've been having a problem with my fans. No its not because its overheating, proof for that is when I just turn on my laptop the fans start going crazy and make a rumbling/grinding noise.
The same problem happened with me about 2 months ago but then It stopped, best guess is that the fans somehow fixed themselves. Then the same problem came back, so I had to open up my
laptop and clean the fans, I managed to get a lot of dust out from both of the fans, and yes I was very careful as not to be close or come in contact with any vital parts of the laptop. I was happy
with how much dust I got out from the fans. But then I turned it on again and it still made the same sound. Today I decided to get SpeedFan to try and see if controlling my fan speeds would make a
difference. When I booted up SpeedFan, It couldn't even detect my fans. Went over to BIOS to see if my HDD0 and HDD1 were detected, and both of them were just 'none'. Please suggest a solution,
the fan is going to drive me insane if it keeps up like this.
Much love to the Acer community and staff members!
Yours sincerely,
