Hello All, Bought Aspire 7 last month. It was a great experience using this laptop as it was very fast and smooth as of now. However, I just feel that the laptop display is not displaying true colors. I observed the difference when I create a design and exported it to my phone(Samsung). It was displaying a different color(a little bit). I transferred the same image to my friend's iPhone also it is also displaying like my Samsung mobile. So feel the issue in my laptop display only. I haven't changed any settings after bought it. So can anyone help me to get the true colors as I wanted to edit the videos on my laptop so it would be more helpful to me?

Can't we use Dolby Audio on Aspire7?

Thanks in advance!

The difference in color rendition on most phone screens and on a most laptop screens is mainly due to different screen technologies currently used. Phones generally use smaller screens with organic red green & blue light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Laptops generally use larger screens with red green & blue transmission liquid crystal displays (LCD) elements (pixels) that are illuminated with a white LED backlight.

OLEDs are starting have better color rendering but cost a lot more to produce for larger laptop screens. Some high end OLED laptops are beginning to appear and likely will be the wave of the laptop screen future. You might be able to tweak LCD renditioning by right clicking on a blank desktop space to bring up graphics options that you can play around with to try to get a "little bit" better color rendition coordination to what you're seeing on the OLED phone screens. But to help you get a little bit  closer to true color on line between what you see on your laptop LCD screen and the two phone OLED screens is gonna be tough. Sorry. Jack E/NJ
