I've been having multiple issues with my new monitor. The first issue is that it has really bad ghosting problems, as shown by this picture of the https://www.testufo.com/ghosting#background=004040&separation=240&pps=1920&graphics=bbufo.png&pursuit=1.
This monitor is advertised as 165hz, so this is pretty unacceptable performance. For reference, here's what my other monitor, a 144hz, looks like on that same test
while there is some blur, it's well within the acceptable range, and is not noticeable in games. The second issue I have here is the rightmost columns are misaligned, which makes media consumption not fun at allHonestly, I'm pretty sure this can't be fixed, which means I have to send it in for warranty. I get that Covid means that it's closed for dropoff, but I'm in Chicago, and they want me to pay to send it to f*cking Texas. I'm looking at a minimum cost of like $70 here to ship this thing in for warranty, even though it's failed by no fault of my own, and is purely the manufacturers failure to QC their products.
any ideas?
