I received a ChromeOS update (Not sure what release) and went to reboot my CB515-1HT Chromebook.  The laptop shut down, but will not boot.  I get a black screen, and blue blinking LED and Keyboard light.  I have tried a hard reset - did not work.  I never get to a point where it will allow me to boot off USB.  Looking for help to try to recover this device.

I think that the blinking light indicates a perceived battery problem. I don't think you have a battery reset pinhole on yours, so first try bleeding off all power by disconnecting the charger then press and hold the power button by itself for 30-60 seconds. Wait a bit and plug power back in, wait for it to indicate full charge and then turn it back on. If that's not enough then you'll likely want to remove the battery and follow the same process...
