nitro 5 AN515-55 not picking up my headphone

so I was having this problem where for some reason it keeps playing sounds from games and videos i watch through my microphone, I watched a few tutorials on how to fix it but it only made it worse now it wont pick up my microphone at all, i tried a different headset and nothing same problem, it only works if i use the built in microphone. also it disconnects from the internet randomly from time to time so im like about to return the laptop! such a great laptop just to get ruined by simple stuff like audio mixing and wifi malfunction

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your your unit, have you tried to reinstall Chipset, Serial IO and Audio drivers?

If it won't work I recommend you to contact Acer support .
