Hello,

I have recently been asked to work from home on a company laptop, I would love to use my acer Aspire Z5600 as a monitor screen as the size and resolution is perfect.  Its quiet a old model, still running on windows 7, with only a eSATA port and USB ports.

I have tried a HDMI to USB converter but I'm not the greatest tech wise.  Am I trying to do the impossible or do any of you guys know how to by pass it so I can use it as a second screen?

Thank you so much in advance.

Most of the all-in-one devices cannot be used as secondary screen. Please check if you have HDMI input port. If you do then yes, connect the HDMI cable to this port and project. If you do not have one.. then you would not be able to use it as secondary screen.

Unfortunately, the Z5600 doesn't have a video input, other than the TV Tuner port, so can't be used as an external monitor for another system.
