Firstly, we cannot advise you on any BIOS related things on this forum, its forbidden, read the forums guidelines. Also, how did you update the BIOS? Was there any interruption in the BIOS installation process e.g. power went off or interrupted, other software operating that could cause an interruption of the BIOS update process like, anti-virus and all its silly additions and fixes (always disable anti-virus when doing a BIOS update) and/or you booted the computer prematurely before the BIOS update process was finished, as the BIOS installation boots your laptop automatically. These are very important things that you should never ever allow or be doing while updating a BIOS.

Also, the Aspire R5-571T BIOS_110 executable file is a very straight forward installation file unless the above steps happened or were overlooked. It seems to me like you have bricked your laptop, don’t touch it and take to an Acer Service centre and/or a qualified technician who is/are experienced in fixing BIOS problems like these, as that is why Acer WARN YOU of the following “Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution”

Let's try to pin things down a bit more... There are a lot of different things that can cause boot issues. Can you enter the BIOS when you are first turning to laptop on? If so, use the F9 key to set it to the default then F10 for save and exit.
