I had the same issue with my Acer Swift 1 after installing Pop_OS!

The real problem is how Acer Secure Boot works. In fact, in Linux distros instruction, you always find "disable secure boot first" but this method breaks Acer BIOS access.

If you lost BIOS access by Linux installation you can reinstall Windows wiping out completely your drive, this will restore F2 BIOS access and allows you to update BIOS to lastest version, that is always recommended since after installing your Linux distro you won't be able anymore to lauch BIOS update .exe utility.

Then you have to prepare your Linux installation drive and ENABLE secure boot (obviusly setting a password for BIOS access).
You have also to add to Secure Boot database your USB EFI image in order to allow your Live CD to boot properly. Before saving changes be sure F12 boot quick-menu is enabled, this keeps you from bricking your system if something went wrong.

After that you can boot your Linux Live distro and install it normally. At first reboot you will get a scary "Secure Boot failure" error message; this is normal because your distro is not (yet) allowed to boot. Don't panic: simply force system shutdown pressing for 5 seconds the power button.
Now you can keep  F2 button and THEN power, this will force BIOS start asking the admin password you set before.

After entering BIOS you have to set the new Secure Boot trusted images, you can navigate the EFI partition of your system and you have to add GRUBx64.efi an vmlinuz.efi to your trusted database. Assure yourself even that in boot priority order you have your hdd as first device. Save changes and reboot.

If all went ok now you can boot your system normally: you should have GRUB menu on Esc, BIOS access both from GRUB and from F2 pression and the boot quick-menu on F12.

I hope this will be helpful

Very good sequence description. Not all flavors of Linux need this, but for those that do it should be a big help.
