My laptop has started rebooting when I'm playing the Sims 4. The game starts fine, but after five or ten minutes, my computer reboots with no warning. It does it when it is plugged in or just on battery. I've tried researching the problem, but I haven't found any clear solution. I'd appreciate knowing why it's doing this and how to fix it (in very simple terms please).

It could be a Sims 4 game problem, does this happen in the usual usage of your Acer Predator 17? Because, certain games do crash and intermittently shut process down hence your Acer Predator 17’s reboot. Try other games and see if this happens? Or, uninstall and reinstall Sims 4 and then try again, if this problem persists then there could be problems with graphics drivers and settings, check all those and reset to default.
