I am using desktop Predator G3-710 with 16GB memory and i7-6700 CPU @3.40ghz When I run a vray rendering (graphic rendering app) the CPU and memory utilisation hit 100% and the process took a few hours to complete. May I know the steps
on how I could over clock my CPU to see if it helps with the performance before i decide to upgrade the memory to improve the performance? Thanks

Before you start, be cautious on what you do as overclocking without appropriate cooling of the CPU e.g. water cooling will destroy your CPU and can cause serious damage, its not recommended, do this at your own risk. One way is to use ThrottleStop and all its appropriate settings as any guides of any mods to CPU and/or BIOS is not allowed on this forum!

Btw and if you really want a performance upgrade then increase your RAM capacity/speed and timing and utilise Raid 0 with your SSD drives and as a last resort with your Predator G3-710 upgrade from the Socket 1151 i7-6700 to the i7-6700K as all this and overall will increase your relative performance by and maybe by 40% to what you have. The 7th Gen Kabylake platform is not compatible with your 6th Gen mainboard so dont attempt to put a Socket 1151 i7-7xxx CPU on your platform as it won't work.

How to utilise Raid0 with my SSD drive? I plan to upgrade my memory capacity. How to increase my memory speed and timing?
