I have issues where my ctrl and Fn keys are not working as expected. e.g. Fn key does not appear to work at all, but CTRL + F1(Zz) puts laptop to sleep also CTRL  + F3 and F4 needed to adjust brightness. Interestingly CTRL + F7 does not disable/enable touchpad - nor does Fn + F7!
thanks

Shut machine down normally. Turn it back on and immediately start tapping the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. Click BIOS Main tab and change function key behavior from media to function. Jack E/NJ
