I own the Aspire 4752G updated to Win 8 64-bit and I'm having the same WiFi dropping issue like V3, V5, S7 experience.
Previously I experienced the problem so I sent it to Acer Service Centre and they got my driver updated to 10.0.0.75 (Atheros AR5B97), around 2 weeks after that I had no problem with the WiFi connection. However, recently it seemed to go awry again, sometimes the WiFi drops and sometimes it doesn't. I have tried to reinstall the driver (same driver installed by technician) from the Acer Support but not long after that the problem appeared again, so now every time I have to troubleshoot, or re-enable the adapter if troubleshoot doesn't work.
I'm looking forward to getting a tested and stable driver update from Acer soon. Please fix it as soon as possible, thank you.
