I bought a laptop and did a clean install of windows, and i've been having a headache trying to get it to work properly. I think its not using the RX 560 instead of the Vega 8 built in graphics. I tried the vga drivers and vga utility on the Acer support page, but for some reasons Radeon settings wouldn't show up when I right clicked on desktop, so I uninstalled that because it wasn't working and tried the latest Radeon Drivers, where it shows the Vega 8 as the primary gpu and also shows the Radeon RX560, but not as the primary gpu. For example in Minecraft, hitting F3 it shows its using the Vega 8 graphics, and in Team Fortress 2, the performance is pretty abysmal. I would very much appreciate some help with this as im pretty clueless with laptop hardware.

VGA driver are just for normal users.
You should use latest Amd radeon software for your Rx560x from Amd official driver site

Just click on my link expand window 10 then Download latest optional radeon software it may be version 20.10.1 (i already selected Rx560x)
    https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500x-series/radeon-rx-560x

Follow these steps to install correctly→
Disable real time protection from settings

Ensure that any existing AMD graphics driver on the system is removed before installing a new driver package. Performing a complete uninstall ensures a clean system and can help reduce issues or conflicts that may occur on new installations.

Close all opened applications including anti-virus, firewall, remote-access, or webcam software before attempting the install process.

Once the Radeon™ Software package has been downloaded, run the executable file to begin the setup process.

The first window that appears will allow you to specify the location where the Radeon Software setup files will be saved.

NOTE! It is recommended to use the default location for setup.

Click Install to begin the file extraction process.

    RSX-INS-01

Once the extraction is complete, the AMD Radeon Software Installer will automatically launch.

    RSX-INS-02

click Install to begin the installation process or select Additional Options to customize the installation.

Additional Options allows you to specify a different install location and/or perform a factory reset as part of the installation (recommended).

    RSX-INS-03

NOTE! It is recommended to use the default location for installation.

Factory reset removes all prior versions of AMD Radeon Software and drivers. You will not be able to rollback to previously installed drivers.

During the installation process, your display may flicker intermittently. This is normal and expected behavior while changes are taking effect.

    RSX-INS-04

We Selected the Factory Reset option, so a restart will be required.  AMD Radeon Software Installer should automatically continue the installation process upon reboot.

    RSX-INS-05

Once the installation is complete, you may choose to allow AMD to collect anonymous usage information for AMD’s User Experience Program and/or launch AMD Radeon Software.

    RSX-INS-06

Click Finish to complete the installation.

Now, add you games in amd radeon software then launch from it
