doesn't goes to sleep when it close the lid. what should I do - NITRO 5 AN515-52.

I have updates the BIOS, installed fresh windows, check the sleep settings but the LID doesn't works. My laptop is ACER NITRO 5 AN515-52. Is their any hardware problem or it is just some sort of software problem. Please help

You need to change lid settings→

1. Right-click the Battery icon in the Windows System Tray. You’ll find this in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
2. Then select Power Options.
   
3. Next, click Choose what closing the lid does. You’ll find this in the left sidebar of the window.
   
4. Then, choose sleep next to When I close the lid. You can choose to keep your Windows 10 laptop on when it is closed if it is plugged in or when it is using battery power.
   
5. Finally, click Save changes.

Set sleep on both battery as well as plugged in save changes then set screen timeout to 1min then close lid and check after 1min

Same here. Brand new TravelMate V15-51 running Windows 11 Pro. Sleep button on keyboard doesn't work and closing the lid when set to "sleep" and saved does nothing. The screen goes to the blue login screen, but the computer doesn't sleep.
