Acer aspire A515-54 series not responding

When I got home from work the laptop was just a black screen, like always and I tried to turn it on and the backlit keyboard lit up but that was it, I could hear the fan running for maybe a second or two then it shuts off. The only button that responds is the power button and I can’t escape the black screen! I’ve tried resetting it, holding down power for 30 seconds and everything but nothing seems to work. I haven’t done anything to it and it worked perfectly fine yesterday. Any ideas? I’m fairly certain that it is not a battery/power issue. I also tried the small pinhole in the back

    >>> I’ve tried resetting it>>>

    Does this mean you shut it down by pressing and holding the power button --- then unplugged the charger --- then pressed and held a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom for 30 seconds --- then plugged the charger back in --- then tried to start it up again?

    If yes and still no joy, did you press the FN+F6 toggle key combo to try to turn the screen on?

    If yes and still no joy, did you try to HDMI out to a TV screen and try to turn the screen on with the FN+F5 toggle key combo?

    Yes I have tried all of those suggested methods but still nothing. No button other than power responds so I can’t do any of the f2 or f6 combos. I don’t understand what could have caused it, could it possibly just be an issue that I have to go to a professional to repair?

    If no HDMI output to a TV screen, then it suggests either the CPU/GPU or a RAM module has failed. Have you added a RAM module? If yes, remove it to see if the screen re-appears with only the on-board RAM. Jack E/NJ

    I haven’t put anything new into the computer or anything, it is less than half a year old which is why I’m so confused as to why it would stop working now. As far as you know, would a new cpu/gpu or ram module be expensive?

    Then it should still be under warranty. Immediately arrange for service at this link. Have your machine's serial number id (SNID) ready. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/support
